Ever wanted to try your hand at professional wrestling?
Wanting to try out something new, challenging and exciting?
Need to get into a new kind of fitness?
Well then we can help!
Hayling Island Training School, or H.I.T.S, is a Hayling Island-based company that is dedicated to training people, young and old, in the art of Professional Wrestling.
Whatever your level of fitness, training and ability, we will try our best to cater for your needs. We can accommodate many different people including some handicaps, so don’t worry about any worries you may have, our team are more than willing to answer any questions…
We will teach you many different aspects of Wrestling, from the British style of Technical wrestling, to the Mexican high-flying, the American power moves and the Japanese striking. Each session will be different and shall include a warm-up, followed by the day’s lessons. After having been trained to a certain level, there will be the opportunity to practice in matches of all varieties.
The sessions are taken by two fully insured trainers, Dan James and Ollie Burns. Between them, Dan and Ollie have over 12 years of experience and are insured for up to £5,000,000. The two of them have helped to train many in the past, and have been very successful in the running of the school, not only giving complete novices a taste of the business, but also furthering the skills and understandings of more experienced wrestlers.
Alongside the two head trainers are a number of other more experienced wrestlers who are always on hand to help out and give advice, whilst they hone their craft as well, creating a friendly environment where all in attendance help each other to improve their skills, leading to potential places on shows all around the local area.
Each session shall take place from 1-5pm at the Hayling Island Community Centre on varying dates for persons age 10yrs +, at a cost of just £6 per session. All trainees will also be required to purchase individual insurance at a one off cost of £10 each year. It is furthermore recommended that each trainee purchase protective equipment such as knee and elbow pads etc. that can be arranged by any of the instructors at hand.
